~wave~ Gwyne and Mark here. We are a husband and wife team and we are GwyneMark Photography. Just us...no assistants, no staff, just two crazy photographers. We are primarily Destin " Beach " Photographers. We photograph a lot of weddings but we photograph even more families on our beautiful beaches. We jump on the chance to shoot weddings that are not on the beach. But we understand why everyone wants to come here...these beaches are incredible. We both grew up here.
Ok so, to be honest, we really suck at updating our blog frequently. We have good intentions...honest! You can always check out our website for more pictures and more information; but on here you will find our most recent posts.
What can you expect to see on our blog? Wedding Photography, Beach Portraits, Children, yours AND ours, Engagement Sessions, Trash the Dress photography and Bourdoir photography. Who knows...if we get creative... you might find other things as well.

If you are looking for a new family picture on the beach, we are ready! Doesn't matter the size of the group or how many children you have...we've seen it all. Plus...did we mention that we have 5 children between us? There isn't much we can't handle.

What a fun wedding! It all started out in Watercolor getting ready, ceremony at Grayton Beach State Park and then Reception at Bentley’s on the Bay!
Wow…we need to upload some pictures! Thankfully, we’ve been very busy with beach sessions in spite of the oil crisis. It’s still not here in Destin, Santa Rosa Beach or any of Hwy 30a. It has been reported in Pensacola Bay though and we are hoping and praying it still doesn’t reach here. So, as SOON as we can get caught up on some pics in the next couple of days…new blog postings are a happenin’ . 
Not that we have a big follower of readers anyhow. haha
Turns out, this weekend was one of the dreaded times for all photographers who work ON the beach. It was foggy, grey and off/on rain for 3 straight days! NOT a good working environment with cameras…but we do our best. Thankfully, the weddings must go on….and the couples are no less happy about their day. Which is the point right?
Brittany and John are one of the sweetest couples I’ve met! They didn’t care what happened during the day (ie weather); they were only concerned that they were getting married. They both were all smiles the whole day. SO great to work with clients like that! It didn’t rain on their ceremony which was near Watercolor but it did rain a little during the reception which moved things inside at Bentley’s on the Bay. They did have a mighty cute dog and he was a part of the reception. I’m sure he would have been a part of the ceremony if he could have had the stamina for the beach and all that walking! This amazing couple had dreams of a beach wedding and had it planned for what seems like forever. The day before the wedding the projection for the wedding was 90% chance of heavy rain. In a last ditched effort to save the beach wedding, they called and asked if we could photograph their wedding a day early. So we hit the road for this Perdido Key Wedding to photograph in better weather. Problem was, rain had come early and we could only hope to get the wedding in. Fifteen minutes before the rain started, we hit the beach, they got married and we even got some photos in. All this just before the sky’s opened up. Although not the prettiest of days, Emily and Cody had their beach wedding and here are some of the photos to prove it. Enjoy!
All I can say is WOW what a party. Everyone danced every second they were able. I’m still raving about that Arch…I mean…SERIOUSLY? The people that brought everything down from Atlanta for this set-up….KUDOS. Still also loving the cakes by @Confections on the Coast. Not only are their cakes amazing to look at, they taste incredible too. Three words, “Pistachi.. chocolate..marble”! We wish you guys the best Kristina & Michael! We LOVE when a bride decides to get wet after the ceremony!!! I’m not sure if Keith was aware of Katie’s plans to get wet but he was the best sport and was excited to do it with her!
Ahhh and to end the night in the bedroom. haha….they reallllly don’t invite us in there…but she wanted this picture. ALL kinds of people (fam/friends) just outside the door. lol
